The third LP on Nitegrooves comes from Atlanta-based Chris Brann, and remains in-line with his previous offerings. Fire Flower is a fusion of many styles and genres encapsulated over 13 tracks (and one intro). Highlights of the album include the funk-based Where Music Takes You, and quality soulful numbers in the shape of Stay As You Are, Fireworks and Remember When. In truth, this album may not be for everyone, but if you’re a fan of previous Ananda Project releases or the King Street sound then this is definitely worth a butchers. (CZ)
