Joey Negro’s acid house work out from last year gets the remix treatment here from French house maestro DJ Fudge and Freerange head honcho Jimpster and the results are most pleasing. Removing the old school 303 used in the original, that spotters will no doubt know sampled Jack Frost & The Circle Jerk’s "Shout", and replacing it with a Giorgio Moroder style arpeggio DJ Fudge takes this in a deeper peak time direction that fans of labels like Sonar Kolektiv will no doubt appreciate. In contrast to the Fudge Mix is the more laid back re-rub from Jimpster who uses a series of warm keys, synth baselines and a rolling break beat to create a chilled out summer vibe ideal for pre-parties and cool bars. Yet another sound package from the ever consistent Z records.
