Akabu - one of the many aliases of Joey Negro – gives a serious nod to the old Detroit Techno and Chicago Acid house tracks of the late 80's with his latest release “I'm Not Afraid Of The Future.” Using the classic 303 bass line used in so many of those old classics, Mr Negro makes an old sound fresh by using his legendary production skills to create a funky jazz filled groove that's still heavy enough to keep pace with today's more electro infused sounds.
