Unless you’ve been living in a cave for the past year, you’ll know that electro-house is making something of an impact on the club scene. And while there are some real gems being released, there are only a select few that really stand out from the crowd. This is one of them. The Original Mix contains plenty of breaks and synths which constantly change and build as the track progresses, giving it an almost trance-like feel. The one to go for here, however, is the Dean Newton remix, and this is the real cream of the crop. A gentle intro builds into a simple riff with plenty of synth-bass action. The simple riff soon changes into a solo monster riff, sure to set dancefloors alight. All the elements are soon brought back in again, but the main break is something else altogether. The synth loops itself and soon enough you're treated to real a proper electro stomp-a-thon. Be warned – handle this with care. Influential House are onto another huge tune. (CS)
