The response to our prodcuer competition has been staggering, with over 1,500 tracks submitted and more than 20,000 of you getting involved to listen, vote and comment of those entered. We'd like to thank each and every one of you for making this one of the most successful and far-reaching competitions of its kind.

For the last 4 days, the A&r team has been painstakingly listening to every track entered and after much deliberation have narrowed it down to a shortlist of 10 finalists. For the next 2 weeks these 10 tracks will be voted on by you the public to see who is crowned the people's producer and win the opportunity to have their tracks mixed down by the Shapeshifters and see it released on Defected.

Voting closes on the 8th June, and every person who votes will be entered into a competition to win an engraved iPod loaded with Defected tunes, so check out the tracks and make your vote count…
