Sunburn Makes It's Mark

Headlines
Despite the conflicting on again/off again reports on the front pages of all the local newspapers in Goa leading up to the festival, Sunburn 2008 was given the green light and delivered a beachside party of epic proportions. Altough clearly affected by the November bombing in Mumbai, with many tourists cancelling plans to attend, thousands of dance music fans flocked to Candolim to stomp themselves silly on the hot sand.
With Defected heading up the main stage on Day 1, Simon Dunmore, Copyright, Pearl, the Shapeshifters and drum guru Shovell providing the live beats were all flying the flag for House music, while on subsequent days Trance was very much the order of the day, and while this may still be the genre of choice amongst the locals and tourists who visit Goa, our stage was packed until the very end.
Big shout out to Hermit, Nikhil and Pearl for inviting us to take part in this very special event.
