1. This competition will be governed by these terms and conditions and entrants agree that they have read and understood these terms and conditions and will be bound by them.

2. Entrants may enter the competition via the provided mechanism on the Competition Website.

3. Costs to enter the competition via the Internet may vary so please check with your network operator for current charges. Entrants should seek the permission of the person paying the bill before entering.

4. The closing date for entries is Monday 3rd October 2011.

5. Entrants aged under eighteen (18) must obtain parental consent prior to entering this competition.

6. One maximum entry per Entrant, which must include name, age, address, (including postcode), telephone number and email address

7. The winner will be drawn by Defected Records its sole and absolute discretion. Only one winner will be chosen.

8. The prizes are:

               (i) The overall winner’s prize includes:

               (a) Your film used as the official music video for the single

               (b)£2,000 prize money

               (c)Full interview and profile feature on Defected.com

                (d)The opportunity to work on further Defected film projects

                (ii) There will also be 4 runner-up prizes of £100 of store credit to be spent on anything in the D Store

9. The winner of the prize is responsible for all applicable taxes and expenses not specified in the prize description.

10. The winning entry will be announced on Friday 14^th of October 2011 with the four runners- up revealed in the week leading up to this date.

11. The first place winner will be notified by e-mail or telephone within one (1) day of the selection of the winner

12. In the event that Defected Records cannot for any reason contact any first place winner by noon on Monday 10^th October 2011, Defected Records reserves the right to draw another winner.

13. Defected Records decision is final with respect to any aspect of the competition, including the determination of any winner of a prize. No correspondence will be entered into.

14. Defected Records reserves the right to select an alternative first prize winner in the event that Defected Records has reasonable grounds for believing that a selected winner has contravened any of these Terms and Conditions.

15. The winners may be required to provide a written acknowledgement of acceptance of all terms and conditions of the competition along with a parent's or legal guardian's signature if they are under eighteen (18) prior to receiving their prize.

16. Defected Records can accept no responsibility for entries lost, delayed, misdirected, damaged or undelivered. Incomplete, inaudible and/or illegible entries will be disqualified. Defected Records shall not be responsible for technical errors in telecommunications networks, Internet access or otherwise preventing entry to any competition.

17. The prizes are as stated and are non-transferable. No cash alternatives will be offered. If due to circumstances beyond Defected Records control Defected Records is unable to provide any stated prize(s), Defected Records reserves the right to award a substitute prize of equal value. All prizes are subject to the additional terms and conditions of the manufacturer or supplier.

18. By entering the competition, entrants acknowledge that they may be required to be used in publicity without further consent or payment. Such publicity may include without limitation the entrant's name and/or likeness, voice, photographs and/or video footage of the entrant, biographical information provided by the entrants and/or any statement made by them concerning the competition and/or the prize(s). Entrants agree that any or all such elements may be used by Defected Records in any and all media in perpetuity throughout the world as Defected Records in its sole discretion sees fit.

19. Defected Records shall not be liable to the winners for any loss or damage howsoever caused (whether in contract, tort or statutory duty or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with the competition and/or prize other than death or personal injury caused by negligence of Defected Records and/or Defected Records personnel and/or deceit or fraud by Promoter and/or Promoter's personnel. Defected Records shall not be liable for any delay in performing or partial or total failure to perform any of its obligations to the winners and/or parents/legal guardians under these Terms and Conditions if such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control including without limitation delays, changes, disruptions, cancellations, diversions or substitutions howsoever caused including without limitation as a result of war, terrorist action or threatened terrorist action, strikes, hostilities, civil commotions, accidents, fire, flood or natural catastrophes or arising without limitation out of or in connection with (i) the activities of third party event organisers; (ii) any form of transportation (including but not limited to flights, trains, coaches, buses, ferries, taxis or cars); and/or (iii) by third parties providing accommodation included in the prize. For the avoidance of doubt, the affected winner and/or parents/legal guardians shall be solely liable for any additional costs incurred as a result.

20.  All entrants irrevocably confirm that as between themselves and Defected Records the entire copyright in the video recorded hereunder shall vest in Defected absolutely throughout the The Universe for the full period of copyright and all renewals and extensions thereof and thereafter (insofar as possible) in perpetuity. To the extent that entrants acquire any copyright in or to the products of their services hereunder they hereby irrevocably and unconditionally assign the same to Defected Records Limited by way assignment of present and/or future copyright for the full duration thereof (including all extensions and renewals to hold to Defected Records absolutely without reservation for the use and benefit of Defected Records and our successors, assigns and licensees throughout the world).  All entrants  further grant to Defected Records the exclusive rental and lending rights in and to the products of entrants  services under this Agreement which entrants may have at the date hereof, or which may after the date hereof be conferred on entrants, whether pursuant to the Copyright and Related Rights Regulations 1996 or otherwise. All entrants hereby grant to Defected Records Limited all necessary consents under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and waive any and all so called moral rights in and to the Video  and embodied thereon.

21. Notification of the first prize winner can be obtained by contacting greg@defected.com within 1 month following the conclusion of the competition.

22. Any personal information, including without limitation, the entrant's name, age, address (including postcode), telephone number and/or email address will be used by Defected Records solely in connection with this competition, as set out in these Terms and Conditions and/or for any purpose to which the entrant has provided Promoter with his or her express consent and will not be disclosed to any third party, except for the purpose of fulfilling the prize(s) where applicable. Any personal information held by Defected Records in respect of any competition will be held on record for a short period for the purpose of ensuring fulfilment of the competition and then destroyed.

23. All entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which may be amended or varied at any time by Defected Records on notice.

24. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of England and the Courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising therefrom.
