If Danny Tenaglia and Erick Morillo were to create a hybrid, dance music producing, lovechild robot - it would be Antranig. Scared by this bizarre albeit highly unlikely  prospect? You should be, because now he's been put in charge of the equally terrifying Sondos catalogue.

Sondos is the badly behaved offspring of Erick Morillo’s Subliminal label. Designed to be an outlet for Erick’s darker side with a more tribal, deep, techier and edgier flavour than its parent label. So it’s no surprise that they the label is championing a new talent Antranig, a DJ and producer who matches that very same ethos.



"As a producer, I would consider my current sound to be primarily a Tech House, Tribal, Techno blend... with a tinge of Industrial flavour. I like to keep the groove funky with a dark edge... from the bass-line to the breaks’ says Antranig of his perceived style. His style must hit the correct note because he is the producer of choice of some of the world’s most respected DJs. It is no secret that Antranig works extensively producing with Danny Tenaglia who has taken him under his wing, the same can be said for Morillo utilising his fresh perspective on many productions.

So it’s no surprise that he was chosen to bring us the first of the Sondos essentials collection. In this compilation Antranig brings together some of Sondos’ best loved classics with the labels freshest releases.
