The latest addition to the Defected ranks, David Penn has just been voted Spain's best DJ for 2008 by local publication Deejay Magazine. David, who recently appeared at Ministry of Sound, London at our 10th Birthday shindig, had this to say about the award: ''I am very happy to win the Deejaymag as best House DJ. This is the third year that I have received it and am really grateful that I've kept a good following of fans who still vote fore me. I had a really busy year, with many gigs and remixes that really worked out great, so maybe this is the reason. So what can I say? Only many, many thanks''.
