‘Nocturnal Grooves Volume 2 : Mixed By the Shapeshifters’ is Nocturnal Groove's second digital compilation.

Over the past 12 months, as always, Nocturnal Groove stuck to its ethos of releasing the records you love to hear on the dance floor. Using the success of their bigger artists, they aim to bring through new producers and fresh talent that will keep the music we love alive.

Following up from ‘Nocturnal Grooves – Volume 1’ which delved right through the back catalogue, this compilation combines a selection of the best recent releases with a number of upfront productions and remixes from the likes  of Frankie Knuckles & the Shapeshifters, Candi Staton, Danny Howells, Dave Floyd & Pookie, ATFC, Doman & Gooding, Mark Trophy, Danism, StereoSoulSystem and Kris Taylor.

With ‘Volume 1’ of this compilation climbing to #12 in the i-Tunes ‘Dance Albums Chart’ on its release last summer, this latest instalment is set to bother the compilation charts once again. As well as including 15 full lengths house cuts, the package includes a slamming 80 minute DJ mix from the Shapeshifters.
