What is it..?

The Defected In The House Live Weekend is a unique house music event, spread over two days at two venues in London. The two dates will see some of the biggest vocalists in the history of house music team up with an all-star band of live musicians, supported by some of the biggest DJs on the scene. Make no mistake, this will be the most spectacular weekend in Defected’s history, and we want you to be a part of it.


Who’s playing..?

Performing with the band will be Candi Staton, Barbara Tucker, Julie McKnight and Steve Edwards, while behind the decks we have the Shapeshifters, Copyright and Simon Dunmore, with Shovell on Percussion throughout. Led by Robin Lee of Faze Action, the band itself is made up of supremely talented musicians who have worked with the likes of Groove Armada, Basement Jaxx and Amy Winehouse. These are quite simply legendary artists, performing timeless songs like ‘You’ve Got the Love’, ‘Finally’, ‘World, Hold On’ and is a line-up that will never again be replicated.

Where is it..?

The event is split over two nights at two legendary London venues. The first will be held at Camden’s Roundhouse as part of the iTunes festival. This stunning venue is one of the most acclaimed and unique in the city, and has a capacity of over 2,000.  Defected In The House are performing alongside massive names such as Scissor Sisters, Faithless, Underworld, Goldfrapp, Phoenix, The XX and we have been chosen to fly the flag for house music alongside these global superstars. Expect incredible visuals, slick production and a stadium performance from all involved.

The second night will take part at the Ministry of Sound, arguably the world’s most famous nightclub and home to many legendary Defected In The House parties over the years. This will be an intimate gig where you can get right up close to the action, guaranteed to see everything that happens on stage. There will also be a VIP reception for all advance ticket holders to warm you up in serious style for the main event, so make sure you book in advance.

When is it..?

The first night at the Roundhouse takes place on Friday 23rd July. The second night at Ministry of Sound takes place the following night on Saturday 24th July.


How do I get tickets..?

23 July - iTunes Festival
Tickets for the iTunes festival are free, but you must apply for them via the iTunes Facebook page. These tickets are extremely limited, and iTunes will contact you in the next few weeks if you have been successful.
Doors: 6pm
Show: 7.00pm – 1.00am
This is a full concert experience so the start time is much earlier than regular club events. Don’t be late!

How do I get there..?

The Roundhouse is located in North London, and its nearest tube is Chalk Farm (Northern Line). For information on getting to the Roundhouse, visit the getting here section of their website.

If travelling from outside of the UK, there are 4 main airports to chose from – Gatwick, Heathrow, Luton and Stanstead – all of which are served by budget airlines from most European countries and have fast train links into the centre of London.
