The Rio Music Conference (RMC) is one of the newest additions to the music industry’s calendar. With its first ever event in 2009, the RMC has already established itself as South America’s major music conference, attracting DJs, delegates and fans from all around the world.
With its headquarters in Rio de Janiero, the RMC was created with the aim to put Brazil on the world map for dance music business, with a healthy dollop of pleasure not far behind. In the last two years it has done just that, drafting in key industry professionals to host workshops and seminars during the day, while attracting some of the biggest names on the circuit to perform at night.
The third edition of the RMC takes place from the 2nd – 8th of March are proud to be hosting a party at Zozo, Rio de Janiero on Thursday 3rd March. Featuring the DJ talents of Simon Dunmore and Brazilian house legend DJ Meme, the event will be a local launch party for the Defected In The House Brazil ’11 compilation.
