Always the DJ’s choice of Ms Tucker’s classics thanks to tightly defined rhythms, a euphoric main hook and the added bonus of that DJ’s delight, the Duck Beats mix, ‘I Get Lifted’ was a shoe-in for the remix treatment. 

And those infamous Duck Beats prove to be something of a theme as Bob Sinclar’s endearingly erratic mixes employ them as a base for swerving between jittery, zip-effect sounds and hands-in-the-air old school piano moments, while David Tort employs a clever reinterpretation to underpin his chunky big room grooves.  Both choose to stick to DJ friendly formats, an unspoken comment perhaps that Louie Vega’s original full vocal versions – represented here by the Underground Network mix – are simply unbeatable.
