'Nocturnal Grooves - Vol.2 : Mixed By The Shapeshifters’ is Nocturnal Groove’s second digital compilation.
Over the past 12 months, as always, Nocturnal Groove sticks to its ethos of releasing the records you would love to hear on the dance floor. Using the success of their bigger artists, they aim to bring through new producers and fresh talent that will keep the music we love alive.
Following up from ’Nocturnal Grooves - Vol.1’’which delved right through the back catalogue, this compilation combines a selection of the best recent releases with a number of upfront productions and remixes from the likes of Frankie Knuckles & The Shapeshifters, Candi Staton, Danny Howells, Dave Floyd & Pookie, ATFC, Doman & Gooding, Mark Trophy, Danism, Roy Mclaren, StereoSoulsystem and Kris Taylor.
With ‘Vol.1’’ of this compilation climbing to #12 in the i-Tunes ‘Dance Albums’ chart on its release last summer, this latest instalment is set to bother the compilation charts once more. as well as including 15 full lengths house cuts, the package includes a slamming 80 minute DJ mix from The Shapeshifters.

'Pacific State' is featured on the forthcoming 'Nocturnal Grooves - Vol.2 : Mixed By The Shapeshifters' digital compilation and the single is scheduled for release on Monday 12th April.

Nocturnal Groove VIP Arena @ Global Gathering - At the end of July Nocturnal Groove hosted the VIP Arena at Global Gathering. The arena featured headline DJ sets from the Shapeshifters and ATFC, in addition to performances from the likes of Danism, Pookie and Roy Mclaren. The Shapeshifters : Forthcoming DJ Dates - The Shapeshifters busy tour schedule continues throughout the summer and into the autumn. In August they have already played for Defected at Minisiry Of Sound (London) and also continue their residency for Defected at Pacha (Ibiza). They have also visited Croatia and are hitting Skopje and Belgrade this week. In September they will once again be heading to Ibiza before embarking on a 3-week tour of South America, North America and Canada.
