MARTIN O’Neill admits his players are not above criticism following the club’s disappointing exit from the Carling Cup.
But on the eve of Sunderland’s visit to Villa Park the Irishman is expecting another partisan home crowd to get fully behind his side as they seek to worsen Roy Keane’s week.
“I don’t think any of us, the players or myself, have any problem at all with getting a bit of criticism if things aren’t going well,’’ O’Neill said.
“One of the good things about it is that within minutes of maybe being pretty displeased at a poor pass the supporters can be right behind you.
