Label History / Biography

Slip’N’Slide  was created in the early 90’s and has over the past 2 decades established itself as one of the premier house imprints in the world. Slip’N’Slide early picked up on future groundbreaking acts such as Blaze, Deep Dish, Joey Negro, King Britt, Masters At Work, X-Press 2 and Kings Of Tomorrow.... with massive club anthems such as De’Lacy’s “Hideaway” and Blaze’s “My Beat” originating on the label.

In recent years, artists and remixers such as Mr.V, Liquid People, Gregor Salto, Hipp-E, DJ Yellow, DJ Delicious, Wipe The Needle, David Alvarado, ErickE and Tiger Stripes have all featured on the label, showing the versatility of the label sound and artist roster.

The Slip’N’Slide philosophy is great house music with no boundaries, and the great variety of talented artists and remixers that have passed through the label at one point or another, is a testament to that.
